Seeing The Light?
Indirect lighting is becoming an increasingly modern and popular choice for lighting solutions.
Instead of the lights being suspended or directed down from traditional spot lights or ceiling pendants light is bounced off the walls or ceilings by directing the light onto them first. The effects can be very striking when used with coloured LED strip lighting or recessed areas in which the lights are hidden.
For the best results this lighting system needs to be thought out and planned into the room build from the start.
Chiemgauer Holzhaus have recently used indirect lighting in a new office space they have created and the results look fantastic. Indirect lighting spreads the light more evenly around the room eliminating shadows and reducing ‘dark spots’.
When used with a vaulted ceiling indirect lighting can be used to emphasise the beautiful natural features of the ceiling, which is shown to full effect in this build.
Spacetwo can offer you the option of having a vaulted ceiling so you too can make a real feature of it by having indirect lighting. Because all of our rooms are completely bespoke this is just one of the options you can include in your new space.
